CTAC participation in the XVI COLOMBIAN CONGRESS OF OIL AND GAS 2015

ACIPET

Our company was present in the past in the Oil & Gas Congress held in August in Colombia by two technical lectures given by Ing. Guillermo Gamez regarding exploration technology “Oil and Gas Finder Technology (OFT™)”, which is part of the portfolio of innovative technologies that offer.

The OFT™ scanning technology is supported by over 30 years of study of electromagnetism applied to geology, based on geophysical methods and divided into three stages: one remote and two field methods.

In the remote stage is a satellital Spectroscopy (SS) for electromagnetic information on the surface of the earth which is then processed in our laboratories placing through the resonance frequency in the range of deep blue and ultraviolet the existing prospects in the area of interestOnce the prospects identified we proceed to the stages of field, the first is the forming of short pulse Electromagnetic Fields (FSPEF) where anomalous zones are crossed, while an electro-magnetic field is induced to capture the signals resulting from the excite of the electromagnetic field of the anomaly with its own resonance frequency, to define existing surface deposits in the studied areas and areas with greater thicknesses oil accumulated within the anomaly.

With this information you decide where to make the Vertical Electro-Resonance Sounding (VERS) for information on how many producing sands are there, how deep they are and their thicknesses. This information allows to characterize the deposits by offering information profiles polarized rock volume and estimated pressures.

The OFT™ technology is currently supported by the ANH as remote scanning method to replace technical and financial commitments facilitating the exploration of the operators in the territory.

Attendees were able to see the advantages and benefits of the OFT ™ technology that will increase assertiveness when drilling improving development time of the fields.
